KUDZU Contracting is a locally owned remodeling and renovation company serving East Cobb, Roswell, and surrounding Metro Atlanta neighborhoods. Founded in 2006, we started as a way to handle our own real estate and remodeling projects at a wholesale level. But as neighbors, friends, and Realtors began asking for help, it grew into something more—a trusted resource for homeowners who want quality work without inflated pricing.
With over 35 years of hands-on experience in both residential and commercial construction, we know the trades inside and out. From windows, roofing, and siding to kitchens, basements, and full remodels, we’ve built our reputation on creative solutions, durable craftsmanship, and a no-nonsense approach to getting the job done right.

At Kudzu Contracting, we keep things intentionally small so we can keep them done right. We’re a local, owner-operated company serving East Cobb—the same community we live in, raise our families in, and actively invest back into. By taking on only one or two projects at a time, we stay hands-on, focused, and fully accountable for every detail.
Our philosophy is simple: do great work, stay local, stay involved, and treat every project like it’s our own home. Clients work directly with a licensed general contractor from start to finish, ensuring clear communication, strong planning, and craftsmanship that holds up over time.
We don’t chase volume. We don’t overextend. We show up, do the job right, and deliver predictable, high-quality results for our neighbors. That commitment—to quality, integrity, and community—is the backbone of everything we build.

Meet Tom Schroth—owner, builder, and long-time East Cobb neighbor. For more than three decades, Tom has been designing, building, and renovating homes with a focus on quality, durability, and practical building science. He also owns KUDZU Realty, giving him a deeper understanding of how good construction impacts a home’s long-term value. Tom and his family have called this community home for years, and Kudzu Contracting reflects that commitment: small by design, personal by nature, and guided directly by Tom on every job.
